Welcome to King’s Lynn & District Camera Club

If you have an interest in photography and you live in Norfolk or Cambridgeshire – or indeed anywhere else – you really should be a member of King’s Lynn & District Camera Club. The Club aims to advance, improve, and develop the practise and appreciation of photography. We have a full programme of illustrated talks, discussions, competitions, exhibitions and events. These often include presentations by well-known guest speakers and members – all of which are detailed on the Programme page.

Before Coronavirus stopped all face-to-face meetings, we would meet on Monday nights throughout the year, except for Christmas and New Year, at the William Burt Social Club in West Winch, near King’s Lynn. Meetings normally started at 7.30pm and usually ended around 9:30pm.

NOW WE ARE ON LINE WITH VIRTUAL MEETINGS VIA ZOOM EVERY MONDAY EVENING FROM 7:30pm, with a full programme of talks, presentations, competitions and chat. Check the Programme page for what’s on – don’t just sit at home twiddling your camera dials, join us on line from the comfort of your armchair for inspiring photographic evenings every Monday!

As you will see on the menu, there  is a lot going on through this website, and the club’s Facebook page, including a knowledge base, guides to many specialist photography websites, and of course – for our members – our varied photography competitions.

COME AND VISIT US ONLINE

But see for yourself – come along to one of our club nights here online, and meet our friendly members  to see if our club suits you. Just let the club secretary know you would like to visit us online HERE and he will try to organise a one-time pass for you to be able to drop in on a Zoom meeting with us – subject to our rules as our virtual meetings are strictly regulated to keep everything friendly and manageable.

You might want to take, or learn to take, photos with your mobile phone or your tablet. You may have a full size camera and would like to know how to get the best from it. Or want advice on which camera might be best to buy. In every way, our club members can certainly help you. Visit us for a chat on Monday evenings at West Norfolk’s leading online camera and photography club.
